- FAIF

In the Community. In the moment.

Through books, speaking, and service, Dominique ‘FAIF’ Owens empowers both children and adults to embrace healing, emotional awareness, and purpose — one story at a time. From picture books that help children express emotions to his personal memoir of survival and healing, FAIF’s stories inspire growth at every age.

FAIF’s Mission:

Stories that Heal

Helps children recognize and express their feelings daily.

A powerful memoir of survival, grief, and rebuilding after tragedy.

Spanish version — supporting emotional wellness across cultures.

The FAIF Foundation was created to uplift overlooked communities through mental health advocacy, youth mentorship, and direct service. Whether it’s providing food, clothes, or just being present, the mission is to meet people where they are — and remind them they’re not alone.

Purpose is powerful when it’s shared.

WHY MINDFEST MATTERS

Young people today are navigating anxiety, depression, bullying, grief, social pressure, and emotional challenges at higher rates than ever before — yet many still feel unheard, unsupported, or unsure where to turn.

MindFest was created to help change that.

We believe mental health conversations should be accessible, community-driven, and free from stigma. Through live discussions, youth outreach, wellness resources, performances, mentorship, and safe community experiences, MindFest brings people together to remind them they are not alone.

Our mission is simple: create spaces where healing, connection, education, and hope can exist together — especially for the next generation.

💚 Because mental health matters.

💚 Because our youth matter.

💚 Because community matters.
