Dominique “FAIF” Owens

Dominique Owens is an author, speaker, community leader and hospitality operations executive whose work is rooted in resilience, access and service. After surviving a devastating crash in 2014, he turned recovery into a platform for helping others face fear and move toward purpose.
He is the author of How Are You Doing Today?, ¿Cómo estás hoy? and Beyond the Crash, and a co-founder of MindFest, Louisville's community-centered mental health festival. Across each part of his work, Dominique brings people together around honest conversation, practical support and possibility.
